The two-bedroom unit was well setup with limited kitchen, and as a timeshare trade we were put on the top floor (no elevator), but the rooftop terrace was a nice touch. They provide no dish soap and only one roll of toilet paper, so plan on needing your own. On-site amenities were limited and wifi was spotty except in their dedicated Wifi Hotspot with limited hours, but we were grateful for laundry and grocery store with decent prices, plus the beach was beautiful with amazing sunrise views. Staff had limited English but were always willing to work with you on figuring it out. Restaurant was okay but nothing special and they don't do pizza or take-out anymore (not sure if this was seasonal or not since we were there in late September), so we preferred to cook or go elsewhere, and you definitely need a vehicle to get around. With a vehicle, it's a great base of operations for places along the coast, Lecce, Otranto, etc..

The place is beautiful, but services and amenities are poor. Apartments are Spartan: no a.c. (though equipped with efficient ceiling fans), poor wifi, no sofas or armchairs, no bbq, small sinks, few electric outlets, 18" TV (one needs a magnification lens to watch the news), poor and old refrigerators (our didn't work at all, though other apts had new units). Overall, it could be a magnificent village, close to beach and only a few miles away from the beautiful Otranto but it's managed poorly, with limited care for its guests. Last but not least, the place is stuffed with dogs. Even if you are an animal lover, constant burking at night is not pleasant. Finally, the animation team rocks. Young and kicking!
